My thoughts are this; whenever I find myself in need of police assistance it's best to just let them do their job and give them my honesty, respect and attention, staying as calm as I can to help keep them focused on the job at hand. This specialized department has been VERY helpful to me recently and I thank them for their service and timely response when needed.
My fiancee dropped his military ID walking through the airport. After getting absolutely NO help from any of the information desk attendants, we stopped an Officer - Michael was his first name, I'm sorry I didn't get a last - who went above and beyond to help try to locate the ID. Somehow it magically appeared at our gate about 20 minutes later and I can only guess it was due to the efforts of this Officer. Moral of the story - do not waste your time with the Info Desk attendants, go straight to the Police!
Police Officer Stratton helped me get my work computer back. I left it at the checkpoint in terminal 2 and could not get the TSA to call me back. I am in NY so contacted the police in desperation. Officer Stratton went and located my computer for me at the airport and it is now being Fedexed to me. Officer Stratton rocks! He was so kind and helpful.
Officer Steven Butler went out of his way to help me find my lost luggage. I was distraught, thinking it had been stolen. Officer Butler looked in the restrooms and was so kind and helpful. Luckily, we found my luggage! Officer Butler checked back with me just to make sure all was well. A shining example of Phoenix Finest. Thank you Officer Butler!!
