  My friends live in Big Island brought me here last year. This time I by myself visit again on my way home, Japan. Simple and tasty. Stuff is friendly. The lady who comes here frequently told me to try fried zucchini next time. I’ll be back again and try some day :-)

  Name the last time you had fried fish where the grease didn't soak through your plate.
  
  You can't and your arteries probably hate you for it too.
  
  I literally busted a U and cut off the light rail when this place came into view. I've been dying (if you ever had Pete's, literally like heart failure from that grease ball) to find a decent fish and chips place in AZ.
  
  Out of nowhere this place popped up. I am so glad we stopped as this place is an institution. I haven't had fish this good in a long time. Portions are very large, unlimited cocktail, tartar and ketchup. The cocktail sauce seems to be made in house and is delicious. The fish was fried as perfectly as you can, look at my paper plate, not a drop of grease or oil. It takes mastery to fry fish like that.
  
  We may have found one of our new hangouts. Can't wait to get back there and stuff my face with more perfectly cooked fish!
