When we went looking for a doula we knew we wanted someone who would be with us from start to finish, knowledgeable in the birth community, as well as passionate about birth. Katie hit all of those to a T. Her background in L&D nursing is HUGE!! That is what stood out the most for us. She could explain everything in detail to us that we had questions about. She then would let us know that it was our decision, she was there to guide us in the pro's and con's on each aspect. Her photography was beautiful, it was something that we will cherish forever. “My doctor's office and mail order prescription company both have let me down during this process when I'm trying to get my insulin refill mailed to me. There was mailing issues and both places are closed today and I am completely out of my insulin. I called this Pharmacy knowing very well they don't have any of my records on file. I explained my situation to the woman who answered asking her if there's anyway I can have a one time refill for just one insulin pen to hold me off and she wasn't able to do it without my records. But she did recommend that I go to a minute clinic to see a specialist who can send over the prescriptions to them that way. I was so grateful. She even recommended that I go online to schedule so that I didn't have to wait. She was right. I went online and scheduled and would have been waiting an hour and a half if she didn't help me. Whoever you are, Miss, I am beyond grateful for your help to a complete stranger.”
