Yama Sushi & Asian Cuisine

This is a great place if you love sushi. The rolls are unique and inventive, the fish is fresh, and the wait staff is so attentive. Yama offers a great selection of no rice options, if you are carb conscious. My husband had an avocado appetizer that he loved. The atmosphere is beautiful, very open and airy with soothing colors. The staff here is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth trying this place as you will not be disappointed.

First time eating at Yama...I highly recommend eating at the best sushi /Shimini Restraunt in Scottsdale! I've lived here 12 years, and stumbled upon Yuma Sushi & Asian Cuisine. What a hidden TREASURE! You want fresh Fish? -Head to Yuma! Best I've had in my 12 years living in Scottsdale! I had the tuna Shamini (3 orders), Poke salad, and a spicy tuna roll!! All by myself. The atmosphere is great, employees are friendly and can answer any questions - Jojo,my waitress,and the sushi chefs won't disappoint! I highly recommend.3/31/22

Wait staff was excellent. Very knowledgeable about all of thr dishes. The food was outstanding.

Best sushi restaurant we’ve been to in Scottsdale. Always a pleasure coming here. Everything we’ve tried on the menu was delicious! Kiersten the bartender is the best! Always friendly and attentive. Excellent customer service skills! 🙂
