“I see some negative reviews here about how scheduling works and about the office staff. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bauer for 5 years & I’ve never had a single problem with scheduling. Even when I have needed to see him quickly, I have gotten a workable appointment. What I have experienced has been a professional and friendly staff, and an easy scheduling system. I usually just go online to book something. Furthermore, the Baylor Scott & White system includes an online portal which is very useful for routine questions and prescription requests/refills. I use it often and every time I do, I get a very quick response. I messaged just this week for a prescription and within 15 minutes, the nurse messaged back that it had been approved and sent to my pharmacy. You can’t get better service than that. There was a comment about frustration at not being able to talk about more than 2 issues at an office visit. This is not the Drs choice, this is dictated by insurance companies. This was starting to be the case several years ago, when I was with another Dr., under a different system. Thanks to insurance control of the health industry, rigid rules & policies force our doctors to adhere to how much time they can spend and how many issues can be addressed, or it won’t be covered. It’s a tall orders for doctors and they spend as much time doing paperwork for insurance as they do seeing patients. Lastly, a few patients commented that Dr. Bauer is not compassionate. I have never seen him be anything but caring and very ethical. He has helped me with several ongoing health issues and I have complete trust in his expertise. He’s friendly and very easy to discuss anything with. I’m very glad to have found such a good practice.”

“I was fortunate to stay in the AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale North hotel the week after it originally opened (January 22 - 29, 2021). It hailed during my stay -- frosted foam ice on my Lexus -- which made me laugh. The hotel lobby: 5-star quality. The rooms: clean, spacious, great beds and linens. Cute hotel bar, attempting Euro influence menu. Walking distance from Scottsdale Quarter. Great for single women business travelers and pups -- green grass in abundance and clean walkable sidewalks. This place was kinda like heaven. Check out the photos -- rainbows, flocks of birds, in ARIZONA. The only downside was hotel service (half staff supposedly due to Covid) and parking -- it was literally cheaper to park on the street in Scottsdale Quarter.”

Dr. Anthony Petelin listens to your concerns and takes a genuine personal interest in all endeavors of his unselfish decipline to help all of his patients. This is where Dr. Petelin shines! He lays out and maps his surgical procedures in lay terminology with such delicacy of mannerisms and understanding that simply puts the patient in a calm confidence that makes the entire sit-down-with-the doc a most pleasant experience. A doctor can be a good doctor but not a good surgeon. A doctor can be a good surgeon but not a good doctor. Dr. Anthony Petelin is both a good surgeon and a good doctor. Hands down! He goes out of his way to always smile and treats you like he really cares. I have had six facial cancer extracted surgeries in two years and I think I can evaluate just how extraordinary and talented Dr. Anthony Petelin is at what he does best: Being a good doctor and a good surgeon!!”
