“We love the chop shop. Tonight was my first experience to order the chop shop for my family through a third-party delivery service. Our order was delivered to our door incomplete. I called the chop shop and they recognize that the delivery driver failed to pick up any of the food, as they only delivered the drinks. After speaking with their team, they not only made the situation right but they went above and beyond. They actually had an amazing person from the restaurant personally deliver our order to us. Wow! I can’t say enough about the customer service of this restaurant. Good food in Scottsdale is expected. But great customer service is not lacking here. 10 stars! I will always order from this place and I highly recommend both their food and you will enjoy their people. Great job owners and managers. .”

Yama offers a great selection of no rice options, if you are carb conscious. My husband had an avocado appetizer that he loved. The atmosphere is beautiful, very open and airy with soothing colors. “I just wanted to say that I’m impressed at how much our 8 year old son has learned in the few months he’s been coming to North Valley Martial Arts. He was showing me his repertoire the other day and I had no idea how well he knows the stuff. He really loves karate now, when before it was a fight to get him to go. Now he looks forward to it. James and his staff have really done wonders for his attitude, athletic abilities and slowly helping with his respect to his elders. I can’t wait to see how much more he’s going to grow with his new found love of karate!”

“The ambiance and the food were excellent. When our server, Bradley, actually approached our table, he was very helpful with recommendations. However, it is very surprising to me, especially because our table was directly in front of the kitchen doors, that it took him 40 minutes from the time we sat down to take our drink orders. I didn't realize so much time had passed, but my friend who used to be in the restaurant business made the observation. When it was time to pay for the meals, he dropped off the ticket, but never came back to collect our payments, so we ultimately found someone else passing by to run our cards for us. It was very dark in the restaurant, but I appreciate that there were lamps on the table so that we could at least see the menus. I will say that the bar back staff and the food runners were excellent. Our waters were never empty, (we would have ordered more drinks if Bradley had come to our table more often to do so), there were never empty dirty dishes on our table, and the other staff were great. It may have been that Bradley had been double or triple sat when we arrived, but we felt mostly neglected throughout the night by him. The decor was stunning. I loved the attention to nature theme, the fire pits, and the light fixtures. The music was a little loud, but I'm guessing it is part of the ambiance. Overall, a lovely way to spend a Sunday evening”

“My husband and I ate here twice while visiting the area for vacation. We had pumpkin pancakes. They were good but VERY sweet. They need to be a stack of two with something savory on the side to break it up instead of a stack of 3 pancakes with no sides. I would've loved bacon with them. We also had the bacon breakfast tacos, twice. They were so good! The salsa/sauce was amazing! My husband had the lemon honey ricotta French toast once and said it was good and not overly heavy, which he liked. We also had a kiwi mimosa and the a Good Morning coffee drink. The mimosas was good and the coffee tasted like a Hershey's Kiss in a cup. The staff was very friendly and the owner was really nice to talk to as well. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it felt a little on the pricey side to us, but that seems to be a part of the Kierland area of Scottsdale, not just this restaurant.”
