The staff has always been so loving and supportive, they feel like family. Sad my son will be leaving soon but excited for my new baby to start going in the next few months. Their app is great and allows me to see what’s been going on in the class that day, and it includes pictures of my son that his teachers take daily. “LISA IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I started this clinic 4 years ago when I was desperately wanting to stop using. I definitely wouldn’t still be clean if it wasn’t for her. Being in addiction for as long as I have led me to see many different treatment centers, clinics, and councilors etc. I can honestly say that SMC is one of the most caring places I have been to. From day one they welcome you exactly where you’re at with loving arms and genuine care. This is the only clinic out of many that I have seen that is not money driven and actually works hard for their clients. Every member of staff here is great, and understand how individualized recovery is and help you create specific treatment goals designed just for you. Lisa is the heart and soul of this place and through her own journey she is able to have that true love and compassion for her clients that you very rarely find these days. She’s gone above and beyond for me more times than I can count and I consider myself so blessed to have chose this place. I have stayed here when I moved away for 4 months and had to drive almost two hours one way once a week, and have also stayed here when I could have gone to another place for free. “I highly disagree with the one star reviews. We see April Vanderford. This is the first doctor that I have walked into with concerns about my children and always walked out feeling better. She makes us feel heard and is always open to hear my concerns or opinions. Also Cheyenne who has been doing the referrals is always so helpful. I have had a lot of contact with her here recently as I am fighting to get everything situated with my son's developmental concerns. She is great about understanding that I am looking for the best care and getting it done quickly. I have had no issues with long waits. The staff is mostly kind and courteous. I will say there were a couple of times I had bad luck with the front office but the people who are typically up front are sweet and helpful. The people who help us in the back are always so great with the kids and we are here a lot more than I'd like so my child being excited to go to the back and trusting of the staff is a big deal. I recommend them to everyone especially people who are trying to get concerns addressed about their young children. I have seen several pediatrician offices and several pediatricians in each... None quite add up to our experience at Agave.”
