“Heather gave my a daughter a very thorough consultation! My 16 year old athlete is motivated and armed with the knowledge she needs to take great care of her body to optimize her athletic performance, minimize inflammation, and just feel better overall. She was excited about it and asked to go to the grocery store as soon as we got off the phone! I’ve preached a healthy diet her whole life, but there’s just something to having a professional tell her instead of just “mom.” Also, Heather helped me to understand the right balance of macros for my daughter being that she’s an athlete. We filled out a thorough questionnaire and through the consultation I came to understand that my daughters nutritional needs aren’t generic and are different from mine or an average teen even. Heather also pointed out some things that made so much sense with regard to my daughter’s current diet and the way it impacts her blood sugar. It just hadn’t occurred to me before Heather pointed it out, but it made SO much sense! She provided simple solutions and we are looking forward to seeing some positive results.
