“My mother was already living at Sweetwater Adult Care when Kevin took over. We were not sure what to expect because he was so young and running a good home for older people requires a lot of time and empathy and love. My mother and I met Kevin and his mother, Pretty, and we quickly realized that they are absolutely wonderful. They are very caring, compassionate and they really made the house feel like a home. Their interest in every resident was reassuring and as the weeks went by, the house gently settled into a new normal with a lovely new look. My mom liked it there, she was very comfortable and she adored the ladies who helped take care of her. She even enjoyed the food when she was hungry. She had stories to tell me about what she had been up to with a smile. Whenever Pretty came by to visit my mom looked forward to having a chat. My mom left us in February and I miss her dearly. I will always treasure the memories of my time spent with her at Sweetwater Adult Care.”

“This place is great I took my 7 year old daughter here. She had lost a lot of teeth early for her age. Somehow that caused her to have a narrow pallet, her teeth were a mess. Dr Dickerson inserted a pallet spreader in her mouth and a couple of braces on her top teeth. Within 6 weeks there was a drastic change. They were even willing to let us make monthly payments over an 18 month period of time. The office is extremely kid friendly and fun. They even give their patients a free ice cream cone before they leave. Lucky to find such a good place! 👍🏻👍🏻😊”

They practice patience, which is extremely hard to find in a daycare and they GENUINELY care about the children who attend here. For me QUALITY of childcare is the most important thing when I look for a daycare for my daughter. I would feel confident that everyday my daughter will leave feeling COMFORTABLE and LOVED by the staff. It's hard to find a staff who are friendly and inviting.”

“Our mother needed to move into an assisted living facility very quickly after having a medical emergency. We had contacted many facilities using a variety of placement agencies. We then looked into Brookdale Baywood from the advice of a good friend. We couldn’t be more pleased! Even though we had a short period of time to get her moved in and settled, the staff was amazing! Even during COVID they were so understanding that it was going to be difficult for Mom to adapt from Independent living to assisted and when we needed help in making Mom feel like it was her home. The staff were at her side to give her personnel attention and to explain the “ins and outs” of the available activities, and to introduce her to some of the other residents with which she had interests in common.
