“We lost our loved one this summer. We lived over 2,000 miles away from her home. When we found out a year or so before that she had a terminal illness with dementia, we quickly went to her and began setting resources up to help us help her manage daily life and functions from our distance as long as possible. Our loved one had met Crystal Littlejohn and later her staff from Geriatric Resources LLC while walking her dogs in the business neighborhood! This was a blessing, as we discovered Crystal and her team would be close and available to help her with literally anything and everything. Our loved one’s greatest desire was to stay in her home until the end, and we believed with Geriatric Resources on call we’d be able to make that happen for her. Crystal and her team hung in there with her, even though the dementia made her recalcitrant at times and difficult to help. During her last illness, Geriatric Resources walked with us on many different paths as our loved one transitioned and passed. After, they were always there to help us with both hearts and hands to manage the logistics. During this extremely sad and busy time, it’s hard to find quiet to grieve, but having Crystal and Luann and all of the rest of the staff who worked tirelessly to manage each component, we had time to reflect. We would recommend Crystal Littlejohn’s Geriatric Resources LLC as the care management service of choice for anyone in our situation as distant caregivers. But because the management of serious illness or aging difficulties for a loved one is hard for any one person to handle, no matter the geographic circumstance, Geriatric Resources makes it tolerable and lightens the load considerably. “I have had back pain since 1999 (I fell in my kitchen when I was 19years old). I was in the hospital for a few days. I underwent tests then was sent home on bed rest with lots of medication. Since then I have been to several doctors over the years but none were really helpful or eager to listen. They each bounced me back & fourth or wrote it off as “it is what it is”. The pain has always been there. I’ve had my good days & horrible days. No matter what I did or didn’t do, at times it would flare up & there were days I could not even walk. Massages & chiropractic help only went so far (temporary relief). Fast forward to January 2019 I gave birth to my son. That’s when I started to reallyyyy feel non stop pain everyday! By sheer accident I came upon Dr Flanagan (& boy was I finally in good hands). From the day I stepped into her office I could tell she was quick to listen & slow to interrupt. She is genuine & very caring. (Not many doctors out there are like her). She does not write off her patients, she doesn’t give up, she doesn’t rush you out of her office. She is patient when listening to your problem areas. She takes her time to talk to you & makes sure to listen so she can fix the issues needed. She has even called me on a few occasions (outside of her normal office hours, driving home ON HER OWN TIME, to make sure I was taken care of & to make sure all my questions were answered). She makes you feel safe & she answers all & any questions you may have to your level of understanding. She scheduled me for a few different procedures. I’m working with her on trying to fix this back issue. I don’t have enough words to express how very happy I truly am with the attention, the compassion, the care & true genuine help I am getting from Dr Flanagan & her nurse Kayla. I would recommend Dr Flanagan to anyone who is searching for a pain management doctor & truly in need of help. I can’t thank you enough Dr Flanagan.
