Not only does he educate all of his clients through every step of their diagnosis, but he also answers All of your questions (in language that makes sense), demonstrates on models, never makes you feel rushed, is extremely personable and is an Excellent Orthopaedic Surgeon that performed 2 surgeries on my teenagers knees (that the Best Surgeon in Chicago made worse--Dr. Peairs fixed his mistakes) and now he is taking care of me as well. “Honestly I cannot say enough great things about this birthing center or the staff. I first was going to MomDoc and it was so cold, unfriendly and intimidating. This is my first child and I had no idea what to expect with visits and didn’t feel I was given good direction. I saw a different person every time I went to my appointments and just they weren’t very personable. The Birth Haven was a breath of fresh air. I feel so loved when I walk through the door and honestly feel so comfortable with the process of labor. I love the staff, they are the BEST cheerleaders! I feel like my husband and I are looking forward to this experience. I really appreciate all of these amazing women and their knowledge. I know this was the best decision for my family and myself.”

“Took my father-in-law to see Joey because he kept taking his hearing aid out. Said everything was too loud and he couldn't hear TV. My father-in-law is a retired navy veteran and stuck in his ways insisting he didn't need one. Mr. Trutwein was able to get him fitted with little fuss. Now when I call my mother-in-law, I can hear her and not have to shout over the TV being so loud because my father-in-law isn't using his hearing aids. Now I just have to talk my father into going!”

“In the last two years I have had numerous surgeries from total ankle replacement to spine fusion to being run over by a truck on my bicycle in May of this year. I have one more surgery next week and I realized I have become addicted to pain pills over the last two years of major traumas to my body. In my heart I knew being addicted to pain medication is not conducive to a sustainable life. I decided to get help lined up before my last surgery to deal with my situation as soon as my shoulder is healed. That said I was scared and really worried about telling someone that I needing help. I felt I would be judged and made to feel bad about my situation; looked down upon if you will. I found Dr. Flatley and the suboxone clinic on line and set up an appointment despite my fears. I received a friendly and warm welcome from Daniella who runs the front office. For all my fears none of my worries came true. Quite the opposite, I was not made to feel judged by Barbara Ann who handle my case. Actually I was made me feel like I was doing the right thing by asking for help. For the first time in two years I felt hopeful and when medication has a grip on you hope is a powerful thing and I felt like I did the right thing by coming in and asking for help. I also didn’t feel like a “number” I felt like a person and I felt like she genuinely listened. I felt like I have a future where as just two months ago I felt like there was no hope. However, yesterday I felt hopeful and encouraged that there was a successful path out from my problem. Being run over by a truck on your bicycle really put me into a bad place but after my visit with D2R I really felt like I have a solution to my problem. I can once again see a future in a better light. Again, don't underestimate how strong hope can be in a dark and frustrating situation. I am lucky and happy I picked D2R as I don’t think everyone truly cares like Barbara Ann and I don't think everyone is so lucky to get to the type of help D2R offers. If you want to have an impact on your future and feel hopeful I highly recommend D2R.”
