“The condos at Pointe Tapatio Cliffs are in a great location and we found it easy to get around the entire Phoenix area from this location. The pools and spas were clean and we spent most afternoons in the water. The full time residents at the condos were friendly and we enjoyed their company around the pool each afternoon. Steve made the check-in process easy and explained everything we needed to know very clearly. The one bedroom unit was the perfect size for my wife and I during our eight day stay. The unit had everything we needed. The only downside to our stay, which is no fault of Resort Vacation Rentals at Pointe Tapatio Cliffs, was the young neighbor in the unit above where we stayed. More than once we’d hear her loudly talking on the phone, often yelling, at whoever she was talking to. She has two smaller dogs and she was gone during the day. In the late afternoon the two dogs would start barking and would continue barking until she came home that evening. Luckily we went to the pool most afternoons so we got away from the dogs barking. Don’t get me wrong, I like dogs but not when they constantly bark. Not sure if this is something that can be addressed with the HOA, but it should be. We enjoyed our stay and would go through Resort Vacation Rentals at Pointe Tapatio Cliffs to book a condo on our next visit to Phoenix but would book a different unit due to the overhead noise. Since this rating if for Resort Vacation Rentals at Pointe Tapatio Cliffs, I’m giving them five stars as they were great to work with but if this rating was for the actual unit, I’d give 3 or 4 stars due to the barking dogs.”

“I just signed my second 12 month lease and have read the reviews and would like to add my observations. One, we did get hit with ants in June/July but with the pandemic I just bought ant spray, both liquid and sprayed both outside door frames that fixed it, but am still paying $3 a month for pest control. A bigger issue are the add-ons per month ($13 for valet garbage whether you use it or not) and $3 for package drop off service (which I use all the time) plus $3 parking, plus water, sewer for me it adds up to nearly $100 a month and $1450/month in reality is $1550. My biggest complaint is the front gate. All of us are getting 10x the deliveries we used to, and there is no code for the gate. You have to take your fob in but only one phone can be attached to it, it is such a pain many residents have no code and PATIENT delivery people just follow someone in, but if we are going to allow that, then just leave the gate open in the day time, MesaPD is our next door neighbor. OR send us all a gate code. We have one for the package pickup. Besides that, I really like the apartment-- it's big and sunny. I am on first floor and I never hear my neighbors through the walls (outside you can hear). I work online very early in the morning and have asked neighbors if they can hear me talking at 3 am, and they say no, so I don't think the noise complaints are valid. “We stayed here with our dog. There were other guest who also had dogs on the same building. We noticed that we did not hear other guest. The building seems to be mostly sound proof. Our room was clean and pleasant. The well maintained pool and hot tub were open 24/7. The property is beautiful. I found south facing outdoor seating during the day and a gas fireplace table to sit by during the evening. My only complaint is that eventually our vacation ended. I wanted to stay forever.”

Not sure if Sheena is still working there but she very understanding and helped alot with my situation. The maintenance was very quick on getting what I asked to get repaired. “In response to Ms Carla's review. Although she is a nice person she does not know landlord tenant law, and wanted me to do things that are outside the scope of of the law. Also I was not her manager, I came into the middle of a situation to try to help her. She wanted the home she was renting returned back to new condition at the tenants expense, I tried to explain I could only charge the tenant for items that were not normal ware and tare. While the tenants were living there she refused to allow me to do any repairs, when the homeowners association demanded exterior repairs she made me do things like have the rotted wood painted over. I inspected the townhouse five times and made suggestions, gave her updates, and pictures every time I went. The tenant held over for 3 weeks from the date he said he would move out, she called me many times to "get them out " I explained I could not just move their things out, I would have to go through the courts. After many talks with the tenant I was able to get him to move out, he did so on a Friday. She demanded I do all the work needed by Monday,this was not easy, but I did everything I could under the law. and had it complete over the weekend so she could move back in. Then the tenant contacted her directly, and somehow I became the bad guy For the following two weeks she did not return my calls, or try to contact me. In her review she says I did not help the tenant find a new home. One reason is he never asked, and given his actions I would not rent to him again. William E Wood nor I did anything wrong. As I said she is a nice person, just very frustrated.over a very confusing situation.”
