“I was invited to tour this gem hiding in plain sight by someone who ordered tickets over six months in advance. It was very interesting. They only take 9 - 10 people at a time so that explains why it's so hard to get in. You tour the grounds in a really large golf cart (they call it a "tram") and you're really not allowed to get out and explore. When you get to the castle itself it is also very contained as far as any individual exploring - which was fine with me but a few on our tour were from out of town and really wanted to get up close and personal with some cactus. (We suggested they go to the Desert Botanical Garden for that).They have a cute little gift shop with interesting commemorative items. All in all it was a pleasant experience.”

“This place is the best. Janine and cowboy Jim are amazing people. Very knowledgeable in the history of the area. Their horses are rescues. The horse I rode was gentle and amazing. Even though he was one of the biggest horses I've ever seen. He was nestling me and we were hugging waiting to get on our ride. Janine is a very skilled rider and guide. And cowboy Jim is a hoot. He really made the ride a lot of fun. We sang cowboy songs and had a heck of a good time. I would recommend this activity for any family.”

“I absolutely love it here. I never want to leave when its time to go home. The staff is friendly and the rooms are beautiful. The view from either side of the complex is to die for. Plenty of hiking trails the pools and spas are amazing. Very accommodating. Today I check out and I'm sad about it Lol. I want to just stay in this comfortable bed and take a dip in the marvelous pool. But back to reality I go. Thank you for the experience. I enjoy it every time.”
