One of the easiest trails that show so much beauty
Very nice trails as long as it's not too hot. This trail goes back to what's left of an old cabin and then branches out to other trails. You can even go around the mountain to the Marriott Star Pass
If you find this review useful please like it thank you.
I've used this Trailhead for many hikes but this is the closest to get to the Bowen Stone House bring water it can be warm even in the cool months and please pack out what you take in. The history of this place is very interesting I can only imagine back in that time dress like their dress and living there incredible.
The trail is very well kept and litter is non existent. I ventured to the Stone house, that i found it and it's history amazing. If your a trail hiker in the beautiful surrounding foothills of lovely Tucson, you will be pleased with the panoramic views.
Very low impact trail and a short walk down towards the stone house. The trail changes names about half way but just keep straight. Was very beautiful and a quick getaway. Be weary of the drive up to the parking lot...lots of potholes.
