“The first podiatrist I visited wanted to fuse the large toe from a gout deformity. Recovery would be six non-weight bearing weeks followed by a post surgery boot. I was in a great deal of pain at the time which cortesone offered little relief. After consulting Dr. Bodmer, he did a joint replacement on the large toe, repaired a hammer toe and shaved a joint on the middle toe. I’m 5 1/2 weeks out of surgery and have had very little pain in that time, actually less than before the surgery. I have only taken Tylenol. I think I’m ready to get back on the golf course. Dr. Bodmer is the best!”
