“I've visited with friends for boat rentals and kayak adventures. Willow Beach Harbor is setup for a nice river getaway from Vegas. When I hear the word beach, I think sand. There's no sand here, there's rocks, a river and plenty of amazing mountains scenery for the gram. If you're going to walk around in the water by the shoreline, I'd highly suggest some wearing water shoes. The shoreline is where most people set up canopies and start grilling when the weather allows for it. FYI, even during the hot summer days the river water is very cold for full on swimming. If you're cruising on the river via motorized boat, kayak, canoe, etc there's a good chance you'll be able to see some big horn sheep roaming around. The Marina building has a general store that has every water accessory that you forgot to buy or bring from home for the river. They're also pretty well stocked with water, beverages and snacks should you need them. Overall it's a pretty cool harbor to hang out for the day. Heading out in a kayak it's my biggest suggestion here as it's a great way to explore the river. Enjoy!”

“My family and I stayed overnight during the Labor day weekend. The hotel had a kid's carnival with face painting, crafts and inflatables. We rented a cabana for the day and had excellent service even though it was very busy. The hotel has a waterslide and splash pad for the little ones! Great staycation!”

“This was a pleasant surprise. The front desk had trouble with the computer checking us in, so he upgraded us to a 2BR suite. Both bedrooms had an en suite bathroom. The room had a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace in the living area. The grounds were immaculate, the pool, jacuzzi and gym area were well kept and secured - entrance only with your room card key. The complimentary breakfast was decent, fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, muffibs, toast and excellent coffee. I would definitely stay here again!”

“I stayed here only because my flight got delayed and I missed my connecting flight. The airline put me up in the Best Western for the night. The room was clean, the shower was nice, and the in-room coffee maker was functional. But, the tub kept stopping up and the soap and shampoo dispensers were either empty or not functioning. The in room coffee was stale...I'm guessing not many people actually brew their coffee there; however the free breakfast was more than I expected and the coffee there was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which counts for a lot in my book. I appreciate the stay!”

Breakfast was Hot, and really good, everything you could want to eat. In evening there was even a happy hour. We really enjoyed our stay here. “We recently spent 4 nights here. I called in to book because I wanted a room with a Mountain View. I saw one online that showed a garden view and mountains but was told that was booked. Anyway we checked in early on arrival day and were thrilled to find out we had that perfect room. Meghan checked us in and was great. The room was comfortable and luxurious while modern and visually calming. Our views were AMAZING!! We didn’t eat meals at the resort but had drinks in the bar and by the pool. The service provided by staff was friendly and efficient. Rooms were quiet and soundproofing fantastic. There was someone cutting grass outside but we never heard him. I highly recommend this hotel as a place to stay to relax.”

“Nicely done. Mexican restaurant there is excellent. Great craft cocktails. Rooms are cool but decor is a little dark. Probably by design given the hot Arizona sun. I like how they are like Puebla’s built into the landscape in harmony with natural surroundings. Pool is awesome. Conference center is nice. The absolute best tasting fresh fruit I’ve ever had! It was a shame to see them throw it out after our meeting.”

“September 2016, the Paradise Valley resort closed BLT Steak, which had been part of the property since 2008, in favor of a modern-American, upscale comfort-food concept. The concept was called Lincoln Restaurant and Bar 1936. Great place for banquets, group functions, restaurants. Views are spectacular . Also great place to see a variety of cacti species.”

“My key didn't work almost every night that I was there, would have to go and get a new one from the front desk, some nights twice as the new one they gave me wouldn't work also. However, the staff was apologetic as well as fun and very nice. They made it not an annoying hassle. Kudos and a big thank you to all who work there. Great job!”
