I'm slightly embarrassed to admit that we have already been back 3 times in the past two weeks 😊 Mon-Wed they have taco specials. Choice of meat, including a ground beef option, and the tortillas are fresh and out of this world! The breakfast burritos are HUGE and delicious with many different filling options. The salsa verde is also a favorite of ours. Each time we have gotten a great meal for two for around $20. This is our new local go-to for a quick and hearty meal.”

“I’ve been wanting to visit Gil’s for awhile, and it did not disappoint. First off - this is one of the few restaurants in the valley that won’t freeze their patrons by pumping their A/C. The dining room was a very comfortable temperature. 2nd - they have a small and cute dog friendly patio. The food was delicious, not too spicy - but the heat was still there. I had the red chile smothered beef sopapilla - it was the perfect way to end my week. As a native New Mexican - this place is legit. Plus, you can’t beat the prices - the quality you get for the price is top notch. We will for sure visit again.”

“Hi everyone! I was in the mood for some Mexican food, decided on this place because of the reviews it has. And let me just say the food, customer service, and employees did not disappoint! The food was really yummy. The sauces were spicy and fresh and so were the carrots. The burrito meat was tender and not over cooked to the point where it is charcoal black (I have had this experience at other Mexican restaurants). So was the taco meat. It seems to me that the food is made fresh to order. I am extremely pleased and will be going to this place again!”

“I highly recommend this location! The food and service were both really great. I came here with my girlfriend pretty late at night and we both got the 3 piece meal. The chicken was nice and crispy, as were the fries. The bread that came with it was toasted perfectly and was absolutely delicious. When we were just about finished eating, one of the employees came and asked if everything was to our liking and if there was anything else they could get for us. Dressing on salad had a multidimensional flavor with a lot of depth. Got chicken on my salad and it was dry- so dunking if it in dressing helped. The tea was not regular black, but had a light fruit flavor I couldn’t put my finger on. Service was slow (minus one star) and even though my tea glass was at the end of the table the server walked by a dozen times never asking if I needed more- I had to ask for every refill as did my dinner mate.
