“I went to Dr. Phoebe the first time last summer and enjoyed the bright office space and the dentist's cheerfulness. Her staff was efficient and courteous. On my second visit recently, one day for cleaning/check-up and the next day to replace fillings, I noticed how well Dr. Phoebe and her assistant worked together. They could anticipate each other's moves, so coordinated that they were like one. They worked on 6 fillings in under an hour. I could feel the roughness of one filling the rest of that day but not the other fillings. I appreciated seeing and interacting with the dentist each visit, unlike another dental practice where I mainly saw hygienists. Double thumbs up for Simply Smiles!”

“I was introduced to Miss Helen's Preschool through several moms who were in my same playgroup. I thought it was great that my kids had friends they already knew but what I've appreciated more was how the teachers encouraged my kids to grow their friendship circle. I'm amazed on how consistently I've seen most of the children demonstrate being patient, sharing, and caring to others. One of my kids absolutely loves singing as a result of the fun and memorable songs she's learned at school. I know it's a direct reflection of the teachers and the environment they've created. The classroom is functional and flows well. I like the ease of dropping off the kids without any parking or traffic issues. I like the location and its vicinity to all the places I run errands in the Hayward and Castro Valley area--before and after school especially since their hours are perfect! It makes a huge difference when all the little conveniences add up; the fees are already extremely reasonable! I know the owner, Helen, has been in the business for many years and it's a reflection of the high standards she holds for herself and her business.”

“A true gem in Castro Valley! Rene does a fantastic job with her shop. It may be physically small but it’s packed to the brim with stylish, clean and extremely well priced clothing. The best part is I can easily find things for myself (early 30’) and my mom here. She must add new items everyday because I can go in weekly and find new items. I don’t think I’ve ever left empty handed in fact! I found the absolutely perfect dress for my best friends wedding in Thailand for only $18 (was a NWT dress from Macy’s that retailed for $180!) pricing in general is extremely reasonable, I hardly ever see items priced over $20 and she always has a great selection of items for 50% off. Rene is self is an absolute delight as well, she’s incredibly friendly and I truly feel like I’m visiting a friend when I stop in. I moved to Castro Valley about a year ago and I’m happy to have found them true gem of a shop!”
