Baem Jiu Jitsu - Fremont

I’ve been training Jiujitsu for almost 2 decades, and I stopped in, to roll with my best friend, who started at this academy about 6 months ago. I was warmly welcomed by every single person here, and the owner was exceptionally kind to me, as well as you can see how much he appreciates every student. He even invited me back, and every student was also very kind and welcoming. The instruction was great, and he spared no details on every move he taught. The flow of moves he showed were great for beginners, as well as comprehensive enough for people like me, that have been on the mats for some time. I highly recommend this academy. Whether you are just dropping in like I did, or you become a member like my best friend. I will be coming back for more training.

I've been attending classes at Baem for about two months and it has been an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in the door, I was welcomed with open arms and an attitude of true camaraderie. Denney has not only been knowledgeable and skilled, but he has also been extremely patient and encouraging. It's such a great atmosphere and I've made so many friends here. I have seen differences in my technique and flexibility since starting and every class has been an opportunity for me to learn more about the techniques and nuances.
I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to train here. The atmosphere is open and friendly and the relationships that I have formed will last a lifetime. The skills and knowledge I have gained will stay with me no matter where I go. I highly recommend this gym to anyone interested in building positive relationships, getting healthy, and gaining more knowledge about BJJ.

I attended Baem Jiu Jitsu a couple months back while I was in town for the holidays. The instruction and hospitality toward newcomers is outstanding. All the instructors are clearly very knowledgeable about the art of Jiu Jitsu and are extremely receptive towards questions. I look forward to returning here when I am in town for the foreseeable future!

I have been a member of Baem for over 3 years and the instructors do a great job in making sure the environment is very inclusive. Denney is genuine and wants to make sure all his students are learning everyday. I would highly recommend joining this school as the teaching style is different from every other gym I have visited.

Great leadership and culture here! Would recommend to any newbie or long-time practitioner. Baem may not be a big-name BJJ gym right now, but don’t miss out because of that.
