Dr. Godfrey is great and very helpful regarding questions and the best treatment for my dog. She took care of my parents dog in the past and now I bring my dog to her as well. For the record (and my grand kids are not white), I have seen no racism, and I am very sensitive to that issue. Also, I don't understand why one of the reviewers thinks he only cares about money. In my experience, it is just the opposite, and at one point we got quite behind on payment without realizing it, because he didn't raise the topic at all.”

It was a clean and comfortable waiting room there's plenty of seating. There's also a plenty of parking in the parking lot with some places in the shade. However when I talked to the receptionist she told me that this company may be closing their business in about a year because the doctor is retiring.”

“We brought our cat, Shredder, to OakVet last night after waking up to a loud noise and finding that our cat had fallen off the bed and was initially unresponsive. From my first call to their office to his discharge from their care, every person we interacted with was patient (especially as I was damn near hysterical), kind, and clear about what tests they recommended and the results of those tests. Everything was safe and socially distanced. It was hard to not be able to go inside with him, but I appreciated all of the precautions they take, including coming outside to bring him in, having most of our conversations by phone, all the paperwork I needed to sign online, and taking payment over the phone. 2020 has been a hell of a year, and having my cat, who is a major source of love and light in our lives, especially in times like these, get so sick so suddenly was just almost more than I could handle, but the OakVet staff helped us through it the best anyone could. Of course, vet bills are always a shock to the pocket, but given all they did, I feel the amount was reasonable. Shredder is home now and seems to be doing well, albeit a little freaked out from the whole experience. A visit to the emergency vet in the middle of the night is never awesome, but the staff at OakVet made it as smooth and easy as possible. Big thanks to them!”
