“Not gonna lie wasn't expecting the place to be in the gas station but trust me this place is bomb! Read some reviews and had to try it out. I've been on the hunt for the best birria in the bay and I think I found it. Been trying places all over too. Grabbed the quesabirria tacos and my lady got the birria torta it was massive and she loved it also! Everything was so delicious and perfect I need to come back and try all the other birria stuff. The horchata was eh but the birria made up for it!”

“Went to watch a movie at Cine Grand in the same complex and was early so had 30 minutes to grab a quick bite. We had a good time and the staff was very accommodating when we asked if we could get South Indian Filter Coffee from across as they didn't have one on their menu. Food was spicy and tasty 😋😋. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Will definitely recommend as this restaurant is under a new name and management from whatever was there previously. Conveniently for movie goers at Cine Grand, they have movie times on display so you can plan your stay and leave just in time for your show, literally next door.”

“Had a no meat super burrito here and it was great. Price was slightly elevated, but burrito tasted very good. Just the right amount of guacamole, rice, beans, and cheese. This is probably the best burrito I've had in Livermore so far (out of around 8 other burrito spots. They also have free chips and a salsa bar, which is a huge plus. Service was fast and friendly. We always get the wontons in chili oil and this time we tried the sliced pork with garlic sauce, lamb in supreme soup, and the griddle pork intestines. All we're really good. “They serve Korean Chinese cuisine. Dishes are at a decent price. It is a hidden gem in a busy square. Update 1/14/23: I went back craving for their Liangzhangpi. This time, I also ordered a seafood pancake. The first pancake came out and looked okay, but I had a slice with NO seafood in there, just full of onions and some carrot and zucchini slices. I spoke to the waitress and showed her the 2 ajacent slices with no seafood inside as well. She then used her chopsticks to check another slice and commented that there was a tiny bit of seafood. That is the problem!! 4 out of 8 slices only have tiny bit seafood in One slice!! She was kind enough to take it back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, a new darker seafood pancake was served. Waitress said the cook measured the seafood to a specific weight for each pancake, so there was no problem with the seafood pancake. For ~$20 seafood pancake, this is not worthy. Get seafood pancake somewhere else.”

“The Food I am not sure how noodles differ in different regions of China. But when I walked by Classic Guilin Rice Noodles, it seemed like an interesting place to try. My friend and I ordered their Beef Brisket and Crispy Pork Guilin Rice Noodle (牛腩，脆皮桂林米粉) along with Special Small Bowl Rice Noodle (合味特色一口粉). The Special Small Bowl Rice Noodle came with a sampler of different noodles. These "Bite Rice Noodle" give a chance to try different noodle dishes. I enjoy both the Beef Brisket and Crispy Pork as well as Special Small Bowl noodles. I like these styles of noodles, and the flavors, though similar, are pretty good. They of course have a variety of other dishes besides noodles, so will need to return and try them. The Miscellaneous The restaurant itself is decent sized with a good amount of seating. The interior is clean with interesting decor, giving the typical Chinese restaurant vibe. The service and staff were nice and sincere. They took our order when ready, and the wait time for the food was pretty quick. Their menu has other selections besides noodles such as stew, hot pot and rice plate. The prices are not unreasonable so it is worth a try if you are in the area.”

“This place is totally worth the hype and deserves its reputation and Bib Gourmand. The soba brought me back to one of the best meals I have ever had, at a traditional old school soba joint in Tokyo. I certainly can't claim to be a soba expert, but all of the flavors and textures in the cold and hot sobas here went together perfectly and reminded me of that long ago meal. The tamagoyaki was excellent. The tempura was light and airy and crunchy in just the right way. The ebi croquettes were out of this world good. The fiddlehead ferns were unexpectedly awesome and a real treat for us, since we've never had them before. The pressed salmon was just "okay" and was the only component of the meal that wasn't even better than we'd hoped. The Okinawa mochi was probably the best mochi I have ever had. The service was excellent, as well. Oakland is lucky to have this gem of a restaurant.”
