“My daughter has been attending since Sept 1 and I am so impressed by all of the teachers. They had an organized monthly calendar with the theme of the week, the activities and how it relates to the theme. They even have a soccer coach come once a week. The teachers all have Bachelor or Masters degree in early education and childhood development, and they are so high quality. It was my daughter's first time with any organized school, so I was anxious about the transition but the teachers were amazing with helping her separation anxiety and now 2 weeks later she loves school so much.”

“Just got home from one of the best pedicures I’ve had to date. Went for the deluxe and was not disappointed. I had cut my own toenails pretty short after having them snag on my sheets from not being able to have them done, and they did a fabulous job. The tech even helped me fill a split thumbnail without charging me for it! I’ve never had that happen so I didn’t know what to do. With the filler and glue it’s so much stronger and will grow out properly past the split and stop hurting! Yay! Best massage chairs at the pedicure stations, sweet jams playing, and very friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place and will be back!”

“6/25/22 Today I had the Surf&Turf Burrito wet with salsa verde, this burrito is HUGE! Delicious and filling, don't eat too many chips or you might not finish it? 6/11/22 I tried the Camerones A La Plancha for lunch today, lots of delicious pan fried shrimp, rice and beans, salad and shredded lettuce. 6/4/22 We went there for dinner for the first time. I had the Chile Verde dinner, tender pork and lots of good food! 5/21/22 The Abondigas Soup is really good and tasty with 4 delicious meatballs. 5/8/22 The Birria really hit the spot on a cool spring day! This is a big, filling bowl of beef soup, lots of beef and with the delicious hand made tortillas no room for dessert! 4/24/22 The Super Tacos are just that and even better on Sundays when you can get them with the home made tortillas, they only make the tortillas on Sundays. Just to let every know this is a new restaurant that opened 10-11 months ago. Any reviews older than that seem to reflect the previous restaurant. 4/3/22 I had the street tacos, 4 different fillings, very good! Next time I'll try Super Tacos made with their own tortillas! The owner said that they could make the strret tacos with their own tortillas. 3/20/22 I tried the Carne En Su Jugo, a special dish from the owner's home state of Jalisco and it was delicious! It's a Beef Stew with Bacon, beans and some diced onions and avocado. It also came with some fresh tortillas. They showed me how they made them to order in the kitchen. See the pictures of the process that I took today. 3/13/22 I believe this is a new business that recently opened in place of another Mexican restaurant that closed during the pandemic? So any older reviews shouldn't reflect on El Tapense. 3/13/22 We like the place so much last Sunday that we came back to try some more items that caught our eye on their Menu! First up today was the Vegan Sopa Aztecs, wow, this is creamy and rich soup, more like a stew. Next up was the Abondigas Soup, perfect for a cool and cloudy day. I would order it again when I have had a chance to try other items from their Menu. Last but not least, making a return to the table was the Two Vegan Enchiladas! We can't wait to return next Sunday to try something else from the Menu and we might get to try some fresh house made tortillas! 3/6/22 Our first time eating here at El Talpense. We got there as they opened Sunday. We were drawn to trying out the food since their Menu was 7-8 pages total and included a page of Vegan items, plus everything you would hope to see on a menu for this Mexican restaurant! Single Tacos, Burritos, Huevos Rancheros to entrees and big Combo plates. I had the Chorizo Con Huevo, Al Pastor Taco, chips and guacamole. We have to go back next week to try more items from that big menu. I asked the owner if they are going to have a Vegan version of the Chorizo Con Huevo? They are working on it to get the results same as the one I had today!”

“Came here for dinner last night. Location was clean and bright. Menu was big and easy to read. Got the bacon cheeseburger and fries. Very tasty. This is basically a to-go joint although they have 2 picnic tables available. No public restroom available.”

“Gary is very easy to do business with. He is not a salesman, just a good and honest contractor whom we hired to paint the exterior of our house. His quote for the paint job was more reasonable than others. The repair work, to replace and fix dry rot was billed separately and a detailed update of which was emailed daily. He tried to find ways to reduce the cost to me without compromising the quality of the work. The bill for the carpentry also ended up being more reasonable than other quotes I received. He was willing to put in a little extra work to satisfy some small requests to make the house look even nicer. He and his team were very professional and respectful of our property and privacy. At the end of the project, they cleaned up the area completely. I am happy with his work and glad that we found a local contractor to work with. I would recommend Advanced Painting Systems to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable contractor for home painting.”

“Karwash is very professional at what he does. He’ll answer your questions for free no matter how big or small the case is. Very straight forward with his legal advise, and he's always on your side. I’ve learned a couple things about the law as well from my past incidents. If you need a good lawyer, can’t go wrong with Francisco Karwash!”

“Too crowded old shopping center with all the stores in the circle - Safeway, 99 cents only stores, asian restaurants /take out and dine in- very nice/, Hawaiian bbq /if you know this restaurant and you are meat eater - so it is here, nail, hair, McDonalds and much more. Parking on the middle let you shop all stores at the same time and do not drive from store to store. Little too trashy because of cheap stores and homeless people around. Why I was there? - because of 99 cents only stores offer big selection of fruits and vegetables for low price. I am fruit girl. McDonalds is very nice, not long time ago build - good design.”

“I've been going here for a couple of months, and I love it! It is never crowded, and it's got a very chill, supportive vibe. Even at rush hour, there is enough equipment for everybody to get in their full workout. The classes I've taken with Anthony are awesome. They're all about building strength and balance in a safe environment, and they really push you without being stressful. He is extremely patient and makes sure everybody in the classes has proper form. The gym has a great gender balance and I feel comfortable asking questions.”

“Having to leave Denny's a couple of hundred feet away, I walked across the parking lot to Lloyd's Donuts which has BAGELS. Although not boiled, the bagel was probably the best "baked bagel" I've had. Most if not all donut shops in the region are, interestingly enough, are Cambodian-owned. The donuts and pastries looked outstanding. I had a bagel & lox with cream cheese, tomato, NO CAPERS, and onion, although it was heavy on the onion. Next time, less onion.”
