“I love this place. It's quirky and cute, has really great food that is reasonably priced, and the crowd is nice. They recently changed up the menu and it's been refreshing. Some people have complained about this but I suppose that is simply due to lack of taste. Most of the people that stop by and that are regulars really love the new menu change—myself included. They added really great stuff and kept the classic and phenomenal prime rib, along with others. I personally would be concerned if they never changed it up a bit. One of the chefs does look young but he's very qualified and clearly knows what he's doing. I've rarely heard anyone complain about his food. Most people just like to talk sh*t about his age but are actually very content and surprised when they see how their food turned out.”

“If you are not adventurous this hotel may not be to your liking. This wild and wonderful 1883 hotel may have seen better times, but you won't find a better place to spend an out of main stream stay. One thing i did not run into was any ghosts ha ha ha. My wife and I had a very wonderful time and we found Hillary a complete delight. Looking forward to our next stay.”

“Starting with a round from the cocktail masters in the bar, our table of 8 had the best time! Incredible service, so friendly and prompt and the food was simply delicious. Each small plate, entree and side were mouth watering. We had burrata, mussels, wedge salads, salmon, steak, fried chicken, mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes. I know each of us will be back for sure!”
