“One of the best most modern play structures around. Super cool climbing and balancing challenges. The kids were excited about this park. All benches and tables are shaded by the many trees throughout park. Large shady grass area. Spinning structures on both grade school age and preschool age playgrounds.”

“On a Saturday I decided to take a drive and had a taste for a sweet drink on a hot day and came across bober tea. My first thought was wow It looks cool inside with all the pink decorations, so I ordered the supreme strawberry green tea. The taste was good, nice and sweet. The only downside is they don't take cash. You have to order on the touchscreen machine and It has the full menu there. Bober tea sells mochi donuts and lattes as well. The prices are between 6$-$7 for the drinks. Friendly staff and pretty clean inside, I will have to try the donuts next time.”

“Diablo Grills in Walnut Creek made finding the perfect grill an easy and delightful experience. Free parking in Walnut Creek? No problem! Advice from an someone who knows grills? No problem! Patty helped my understand the difference in quality/value and advised me to choose the right grill - even if the price was less! Delivery? No problem! Mike delivered the grill to where it belonged and spent the extra time to unpack it and set it up! He told me some great baseball stories, too!! I'll probably never need another grill (this one should last a lifetime) - but if I do I'll return to Diablo Grills!!”

“Been going to Dr. Wallach since I was a teenager struggling with acne, & he helped clear my skin back then. Now decades later he & his wonderful team of skincare professionals are helping me keep my skin healthy & as youthful as possible. Everyone who works there, from the front desk to Dr Wallach are extremely knowledgeable, professional, kind, & always very helpful. The atmosphere of Wallach Derma Center is as relaxing as walking into a spa. They have always done a great job!”

“I have worked with Dr. James Bateman for the past several months to rehab a patellar (kneecap) fracture. James was highly recommended to me by one of my Hope Hospice co-workers who knew him through his previous work with Hope’s home health agency. Personally, I hadn’t had much experience with physical therapy despite my “advanced” age, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect; I was very pleasantly surprised. My course of treatment was a long one, as my entire leg was immobilized for nearly three months. James began seeing me right after my surgery and, while I couldn’t walk without assistance, James began by guiding me through exercises that would strengthen my quadriceps and hip flexors – muscles that I would need once I began to walk on my own again. When the bone healed and I was able to begin gradually bending my knee, we continued to work on muscle strength, range of motion, and balance. But just as importantly, James focused on the psychological aspect of my recovery—helping me to overcome my fear of having another freak accident and providing me with the encouragement and motivation to keep working diligently to get back to the active life I led prior to the accident. We continued that extremely effective combination of both physical and mental rehabilitation throughout the course of my treatment. In addition to being a highly knowledgeable and skilled practitioner, James is just an all-around nice guy. Sessions always began with him actively listening as I explained how my knee was feeling and how I’d been functioning; that was followed by his evaluation of my progress and sharing strategies and next steps. It was clear that James believed that his patient’s attitude and understanding played as much of a role in recovery as did his skills as a physical therapist. His approach to physical therapy was that of a partnership. While I’ve now been officially released from PT, I know that I can always contact James should I need anything. I can honestly say that I can do everything I did before the fracture, which was our shared rehab goal. I’m not 100% pain-free and my knee still gets stiff on occasion, but I know I have the tools I need to remedy those issues, and I am confident that they will be resolved with time and with my commitment to continue the exercises prescribed by James. I am happy to recommend James Bateman without reservation!”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Alamo Montessori and all that Marnie and her team have done for our little boy. We enrolled our son at 18 months, the youngest age that AM accepts (which is lower relative to many Montessori programs in the area!) While I knew that it would be a big transition for him, I was comforted when Marnie asked us to come see the program in action and let him join in for two short visits prior to our first day. At the time, he was shy, attached, and was behind in his speech. Since then, he has grown into such a confident, personable, and intuitive little boy. I attribute so much of that to AM's approach to learning. They paint, do science experiments, read books, sing songs, and play outside every day. They let the child lead with their interests, but also expose them to experiences that I don't have the patience for (or the willingness to clean up!). He is constantly coming home with new skills, songs and words in his vocabulary. He gets so much focused attention and I can tell that he is incredibly well loved and cared for. We communicate and receive photos through an app, and there are twice yearly "parent teacher conferences" where we get an update on how he is doing. He has thrived under their care. I truly believe that placing him in Alamo Montessori has been one of the best things we have done for him. I am so grateful.”

“Want to taste "Nashville Hot Chicken" style food locally? This is the place! The food is made to order so it's delicious and fresh. The spice levels are on point. Didn't have enough courage to try the highest level of spice yet. There's options for non spicy as well. The quality of the food is great.”
