Then, this weekend, my parents (both 87,and had been with THEIR agent for 30 years) lost their coverage because Kemper screwed up their "auto pay" (after they got scammed, and had to close their 50 year old bank account) because of a "check mark" on the agents internal website, that he didn't follow up on. 🤬 Dave answered my call, handled all of my drama personally (amid the 2019 wildfire, PG&E shutdown, crazy wind chaos he was already dealing with) and never batted an eye!! “I'm one of those people who don't write reviews but there is always the exception and this is mine. When I first started medicare I researched the information available, talked to several agencies and made my choices based on their input and knowledge. But little did I know!! I soon found out that the choices I made were not the right ones for me. I made it through a very expensive year and as my renewal time came I met with Joe Valenzuela at Vista Mutual Insurance Services. I made an appointment and we talked about all my needs from insurance premiums to copays all the way to prescriptions. I told him how I had made my choices from the prior year and I really needed to change them but wasn't sure how. Medicare was not as simple as it appeared. He took the time to talk to me, find out what I needed and didn't need. He was very patient and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. We went over many possibilities until we found the perfect policies for me. By the end of our meeting I felt so much better. He managed to get me exactly what I needed at an affordable price. I have a couple of very high priced prescriptions and he found a policy that actually saved me almost $2000.00 on one of my prescriptions and at a lower policy price!! I've been with him ever since. Joe sends valuable updates via email during the year that keeps me informed on medicare issues. When renewal time comes Joe reaches out and we set a meeting to go over my current needs and any changes I may have had during that year. We review my policies to make sure they still meet my needs. I learned my Medicare lesson... No matter how easy it looks or you think it is, it isn't! I went from having the worst medicare experience to knowing I never have to worry again.
