“I'm one of those people who don't write reviews but there is always the exception and this is mine. When I first started medicare I researched the information available, talked to several agencies and made my choices based on their input and knowledge. But little did I know!! I soon found out that the choices I made were not the right ones for me. I made it through a very expensive year and as my renewal time came I met with Joe Valenzuela at Vista Mutual Insurance Services. I made an appointment and we talked about all my needs from insurance premiums to copays all the way to prescriptions. I told him how I had made my choices from the prior year and I really needed to change them but wasn't sure how. Medicare was not as simple as it appeared. He took the time to talk to me, find out what I needed and didn't need. He was very patient and explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. We went over many possibilities until we found the perfect policies for me. By the end of our meeting I felt so much better. He managed to get me exactly what I needed at an affordable price. I have a couple of very high priced prescriptions and he found a policy that actually saved me almost $2000.00 on one of my prescriptions and at a lower policy price!! I've been with him ever since. Joe sends valuable updates via email during the year that keeps me informed on medicare issues. When renewal time comes Joe reaches out and we set a meeting to go over my current needs and any changes I may have had during that year. We review my policies to make sure they still meet my needs. I learned my Medicare lesson... No matter how easy it looks or you think it is, it isn't! I went from having the worst medicare experience to knowing I never have to worry again. “I haven't been to a real barber in years. I had to find a new one recently when my hair stylist who used to come to my house relocated. I picked this one because it is close to where I work and basically randomly selected one of the barbers when scheduling my appointment. I picked Adam Valenzuela Jr. and I'm glad I did. He did an amazing job. I am in love with my hair cut. The attention to detail was phenomenal as well as the speed of which he completed it. Not only did he perfectly fade and line up my hair but he fixed my beard and even got my embarrassing nose and ear hairs that I've started to get as I approach 30. 😂 I'm honestly sad I couldn't go out to a club or bar that night because I would have gotten a lot of attention. 😉 I had no qualms spending $50 on the cut because the quality is definitely worth it. I've already scheduled my next appointment.”

“5/13/13 ANNUAL RUMMAGE SALE The summer of 2012 involved a lot of estate sales and garage sales for me and my then-fiance. We had decided to make my wedding bouquet out of brooches and our own and family collections didn't render enough to do it without buying some. We happened to find a rummage sale going on at Woodside last summer and it was the very end of it when we walked in. We were allowed to take a look around and actually found a couple brooches. It didn't cost us much and they were great! As luck would have it, the 9am - 2 pm sale took place again in 2013 and we happened to drive by on the perfect weekend! We stopped in at 2:15, just as they were finishing up (again). We were allowed to walk around and they had reduced prices. How lucky are we! We found some adorable Pooh items that included a new nursery light switchplate and some Pooh Nesting Dolls. A couple framed Pooh pictures found their way into my bag also. Alas, I do not have a nursery. Or children. And I never watched Winnie the Pooh. But the items are clean, new, and adorable, and would make great gifts! It's really great when schools organize fundraisers and have parents that are willing to help and volunteer their time. We've enjoyed both times we've driven by this school and seen something going on. Now we need to keep our eyes open for their next ice cream social. Because we'd totally stop for that too!”

“We live in discovery bay and had a delivery today. Just want to give aculada to Leo the delivery driver. I'm so grateful to him. I was home most of the day for my mom. Leo came about 12 noon but I didn't hear the door bell or his knocks. I called the office about two hours later and she said he would come back by on his way back to the office.
