I went here long ago when mrs reader was principal and mrs greenway was our track coach rest in peace!! This was the best school!
Really enjoy the level of education and teacher involvement my children receive at Cesar Chavez Elementary.
This school was the best and safest school when I attended a good few years ago as Ms.Holden was my most favorite teacher there.

Both of our children have attended Chavez - one through 6th grade, and the second entering second grade. They love school! The students are interested in learning. The parents turn out in large numbers for school events, assemblies, in support of the booster club and more. By Great Schools, API and other measures Chavez is at the very top of Kern County school rankings - rivaling, if not flat outscoring nearly every school in the Norris and Fruitvale district. Chavez provides the most conducive environment for student learning. Teachers appreciate the opportunity to teach here. We couldn't be happier with Chavez!
