Paradise Cove Campground (Sequoia National Forest)

Woke up to a beautiful sunrise after pulling in at midnight. Camp host Randy came by to collect the $32 fee at 8 AM. Nice place.

All 4 parking lots were flooded due to the high lake levels this time of year, so this is a rare view from our campsite.

Camp host Randy was very nice, the campgrounds were clean it was nice to have a shower available as we were out there for 5 days. Restrooms were clean. Each campsite had its own picnic table and fire pit. Can't wait to go back again.

Good fishing nobody steals your stuff while you're down by the water nice to talk to people from out of town I've lived here 20 years if you want to be around a lot of people this is it they respect the quiet rule at night which gets boring sometimes I Like it Loud and crazy and then there's always the bar and restaurant within walking distance across the street had a few good parties there you can get hammered and then try to find your Campground just don't walk into the wrong tent people don't like that LOL

Actual camp site is First come first serve so if you have a big group, you may not be able to stay together unless one family arrive early. It can be very windy!! We have two broken canopy due to strong wind.

Do not miss the rafting at Kern River. It is absolutely fun and worth it! Reserve ticket online.

The view of the lake was great. When we arrived about 8:00pm it was so windy we could barely put our tents up. The wind made for a very sleepless night.
The campsite does have a restroom with a shower (even hot water). But there are very few restrooms for such a large campground. It would be very busy if there were more campers.
