  He has been my primary care provider for over 30 years. I really don't trust anybody else with my primary care conditions. He is very truthful and honest and explains things exceptionally well for the lay person.
  Wait time is maybe 10 minutes and the office is very professional.

  DR O'Connell is by far the best family practice physician in Bakersfield, or anywhere by my standards.

  Excellent primary care doctor! Always takes adequate amount of time hearing you out and never rushes through his appointments. Soft spoken and a great listener. Always willing to refer you to a specialist if needed. Couldn’t ask for a better experience! I’ve been seeing him for almost 10 years.
