M*A*S*H Production Location

I've wanted to hike here for years but haven't been able to because of health issues. I know people's lives & homes make this a minor loss, but I fear this beautiful piece of history is now gone. :(

Its hard for for me not to give the MASH Set 5 stars. The hike was a moderate hike. I could picture scenes of the show while sitting in the middle of the set. The set is smaller than I thought it would be they had some great camera angles!

The set from my favorite tv show of all time. Well worth a visit, there isn't much left after the fires that came through the area multiple times through the years. Should have been preserved as a part of American pop culture and a symbolic vibration of our history with North Korea.

Great walk, take some water and a picnic lunch. The trail isn't steep but it is uneven (tree roots, loose gravel) in places so wear sensible shoes. Apart from the MASH set, the hills are also very photogenic, particularly in spring. Fully recommended for all MASH fans.

If you are an nuts fan of M*A*S*H like I am then you will thoroughly enjoy the hike to the site. I'm knocking off one star because it would have been nice to see some kind of outline on the ground indicating the buildings, not just a map. Seems like it needs a bit more maintenance/trimming in many areas. The like will take you about 45 mins in each direction from the main car park. Make sure to get your photo next to the sign!
