What is there not to admire about and recommend with the Risser Orthopaedic Group? My handicapped son and I had been patients of the group since 1987. We continue to roll out rave reviews for doctors Donald Norquist (semi-retired, but oh-so-knowledgable), Dr. Daniel Laster, hip and knee specialist and my much needed Jason Myers, DO (Doctor of Osteopathy--as in an MD--but a specialist in pain management for the excruciating pain caused by my scoliosis. We are headed towards PRP, platelet-rich plasma GOOGLE IT!)
Both offices, Pasadena and Arcadia, are exceptionally well organized with intelligent staff. If a particular individual cannot assist you in whatever answer you may be seeking, your problem will be passed on and, truly, "someone well equipped in brain matter will get back to you" Each doc has a medical assistant whom patients can phone and interact for additional contact, e.g, more questions one creates after seeing one's doc. . . at least I do and I'm a nurse specialist in trauma and reconstructive surgery. There is always one more question and this outfit has thought ahead to serve its patients.
Each specialist on staff has received impressive schooling and training. I have investigated each of their curriculum vitae (resumes) and would trust each of these surgeons, if necessary, to operate on my body. Each structural area of the individual's anatomy is specific to one specific orthopedist. If there is question that could be facilitated by calling in a colleague, no problem. All are in practice for your care and health. In addition, all ancillary aspects of patient care are staffed by, again, knowledgeable individuals.
I recommend the entire staff of orthopedic doctors and the support staff with the highest regard and years of experience interacting with the Risser Orthopaedic Group. The medical staff and the support team work superbly with each other. This is a rare find.
