“I've seen some negative reviews for this nationwide company, Old Dominion Freight. I can't say much about the company itself other than they did what they said they would do. I'm sure every location has it's ups and downs but this review is for the Carson office/dispatch location. My driver/deliverer, Victor, ran a bit late but I was informed of this situation hours before. He went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations for my 800-pound delivery. "Curbside" delivery is all I paid for and was exactly what I was thinking. My package consisted of three 8'x3' boxes each weighing around 250 pounds. There was no way I was going to get these up my driveway and over to the final resting point on my own, so I expected to open each box remove a few pieces at a time and lug them up. I'm guessing it would have taken me 2-3 hours. Victor had no obligation to do anything more than curbside, but he offered to use his pallet jack to carry the boxes up my steep 100' driveway. He placed them exactly where I wanted them and was on his way with a handshake and a smile. Old Dominion has at least one great one employee!!”
