Espiau's

On a day where Claremont was not taking reservations anywhere. Espiau's was taking reservation. The service was good. The drinks were good. And the food was decent. I was expecting it to be pretty warm sitting outside. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too hot.

This place never disappoints with the quality of the food, the service and the libations. It was very interestingly decorated for Christmas with candy canes throughout the ceiling

Some menu items are a little pricey for what you get but good Mexican American food. Their shredded beef tacos come packed with fresh soft shredded cheese. Their cheese enchiladas have olives just like my grandma used to make. Their chips and salsa are good. Service is slower than expected so expect to spend more time waiting for the check and paying. Servers are very nice.

It is a nice Mexican restaurant, located in downtown area of Claremont! It was on of the few restaurants, that reopened, after the COVID-19 lockdowns, in 2021. Thus, after work, in 2021, I would come to enjoy some cocktails. In addition, they had a good selection of Mexican meals. They were quite delicious. Of course, the prices were on the expensive side. Nevertheless, the working staff was friendly, and helpful. Furthermore, the meals were delicious. So, the prices were worth it. At the same time, on Fridays, there is a wait to get seated, usually it is between 15-30 minutes. So, if people don't mind to wait, it is quite worth it. I didn't mind the wait, since cocktails were well prepared, and meals were delicious. Definitely, I will come back again. However, I need to have some disposable cash first. Since the prices do add up!

My sister in law had seen reviews for this establishment an we wanted to find out what all the hoopla was about. First I'll start with their chips, straight 🔥. You don't even need the salsa that it comes with. With the salsa even better. Food was very good, I would recommend this establishment for the surrounding areas an for out of towners such as myself. Waitress was on top of her game an our refills came fast.
