“After hiking up to the Henry Cook Lookout Point, I wasn’t entirely sure what could top that amazing hike. This was exactly on par and was a welcome surprise. Disclaimer: This is not the wisdom tree!!! But I still think it’s a worthwhile hike that all Burbankian hikers should try.”

“An Official Hiking Review: A hard hike only for experienced hikers. Three miles to Tongva Peak and three back. That being said, it’s amazing. This peak offers a breathtaking view of La Crescenta and Montrose. Would highly recommend!! We rate this trail extremely hard.”

“Personally, after hiking the Henry Cook Lookout Point, I wasn’t too impressed by this Brand trail. Don’t get me wrong- it’s a good trail that has a great view- but the big payoff view takes too long to get to. I was looking for a shorter trail that gave me the exact same thing that this trail did. Would recommend for more avid hikers with a lot of time on your hands.”

“Naming it a "park" is such an understatement. Not only is it a beautiful park, but it is the heart and soul of Glendale with its library and gallery. You can visit the doctor's house, which is a Victorian style home with a beautiful garden and Japanese guest house and pond. The main building with a Moroccan(I think) style architecture is very grand and beautiful sitting at the top of a hill.”

“Wow! The drive here was amazing, I felt as if i was in another city when in reality i was just over the mountain. The park was empty and quiet. Enough grass space, bathrooms, b.ball court, tennis court and monkey bars for kids.”
