Since getting back on my feet (12 yrs) ive never been treated differently. Some people steal. I get it. I never did and told if I saw it. They have to protect themselves. It's a business. “I had great experience during my visit to this barbershop! Had an appointment with Josie, who was running a little bit behind, but she greeted me and got me a drink while I waited (those little gestures mean a lot - sometimes barbers get behind on their schedule, so it was completely understandable). Josie was super nice while we stepped through the haircut, which made the experience that much more special - I understand now why she ran a little behind, and that's because the level of care and detail she put into the haircut was confidence inspiring (I knew she wasn't letting leave that chair with a haircut nothing short of perfect). I will definitely be coming back, and absolutely give my recommendation for a visit. Two thumbs up!”

“As a small business owner, reliability and being punctual is a rare but precious quality that we seek in vendors and technicians. Needless to say, this year was extremely difficult for small business owners. So when LA County finally allowed our operations to resume we had very short turnaround time. This is when we discovered that our Boiler wasn't functioning properly. I called multiple vendors and specialists, but decided to go with Jason from A O Dowd Plumbing because of the way he went about asking me what the issue and problems I was experiencing in trying to diagnose the situation over the phone. Most other competitors were more interested in making sure you know their rates and how this is considered overtime. As a business owner, I am as skeptical and jaded as they come unfortunately due to the numerous times of let downs, price gauging, and simply dealing with "call centers" than actual technicians. So I took a chance with Jason. Although he had other jobs prior to ours; he understood the urgency of our situation and sympathetic to the fact that we're just a small business barely trying to hang on while LA County wreck havoc with abrupt opening/closing policies. He scheduled our job for the early evening since he knew we needed our boiler to be fixed in order to get opened. He did a great job communicating when he was about to head over outside of LA County and the time frame to expect him. Upon arrival, he diagnosed the situation and presented the potential solutions along with the price quote. I highly recommend Jason because not only was he very professional but he was very transparent in how he was going to present potential solutions in tackling the problem. He did wonders in getting our very old but still solid boiler up and running in a couple hours. He definitely saved the day for us.”

It has it's own parking lot, the Belmont Brewing Company and various shops. The Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier commemorates fallen soldiers from all 5 military institutions.”
