(December 20, 2018, 11:51 am)I didn't know about this little secret. There's multiple trails (.25, 1 mile, 2 miles) which are beautiful. Not too many flowers (I'm sure because of the season) but really scenic place still. Very serene. Parking is $5 during the week and $7 on the weekend.

(December 8, 2018, 4:39 pm)Several lovely trails. Safe and fun for the whole family. It costs $7 (Cash Only) to park and there is limited parking. If you don't mind turning it into quite the walk you can park at the Long Beach Town Center and take the river bed down. Alternatively, you can park at the Park across the street, but you will have to pay again. There are plenty of birds, turtles and bugs to see at the nature center as well as a small information center. A calendar near the entrance provides additional details of what to expect in the weeks ahead.

(December 4, 2018, 1:33 am)A very peaceful walking area that has multiple trail loops: 1/4 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile. The scenery is very nice with the various plant life and ecosystems that surround the large pond/lakes. There is no entry fee but there is a parking fee to enter, with no real parking that I could see outside of the nature center. Weekdays is only $5 so worth the price. The wildlife, especially the turtles, are a great bonus.

The 105 acres that make up the Nature Center grounds provide sanctuary for animals and plant life. Two miles of dirt trails and a ¼ mile paved trail wind around two lakes, a stream and forested areas. At the entrance, cross over the wooden bridge that spans the lake and you'll find yourself on a small island that houses the Visitor Center, containing educational displays, art gallery and a small gift shop offering environmentally themed books and gifts.
