“When I heard this place had what was voted as the BEST Choc Chip Cookie in LA, I knew I just had to try it. I was surprised to see it's location; yes, it's in a gas station. If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there. It's worth the search though, because these were great. I'm not sure if they really are the very best in LA as that's a big call, but they were terrific. The girls behind the counter were really friendly and helpful in picking out flavours. I of course chose the Chocolate Chip and I also got the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip. In hindsight, I wish my secondary choice was something more different, but still, I was so happy with these delicious, soft, melt in your mouth cookies. I think they're really reasonably priced, and I can't talk about it more highly. Go get them next time you're in Los Angeles; I definitely will again.”

“Whoever your expediter and code consultant is right now; do yourself a favor and fire them. Jonathon Lonner is a magnanimous genius, who without asking for much, was able to extricate our company and family from financial jeopardy. Following the advice of our previous code consultant we signed a personally guaranteed lease only to be halted at planning. He immediately swept in and cleaned up the entire process, and put us back on track. Jonathon is also a millennial level emailer. I’ve never sent him an email he didn’t respond to in less than 5 minutes.”

“I love 18 Minute laundry! Not too big, not too small, never too crowded. TV on but not overwhelming. Right next to a Starbucks. I feel safe leaving my clothes to run errands in the shopping center. One of the few laundromats near my apartment that still has top loaders (for my rare, half-load of whites). Careful, Dryers run very hot and can damage clothes if left in too long. On the plus side, clothes get dry FAST. Below, my few cons: PROS: (See above, and...) -They lock the doors during the last hour or so before closing. I feel safer, especially as a woman, because this means no crazies can come wondering in. (They let people who have laundry going in and out.) CONS: -Change machine DOES NOT take ten dollar bills (what's up with that?) Staff will break a twenty for you, but.... -Staff are not always present. -Some of the staff don't speak English very well, and my Spanish is pretty terrible. Fine most of the time, but tricky to communicate if there's a real problem with a machine.”

“This place is the best! I do my laundry here every week like clock work. I love the new owners and management. For me supporting small family owned business is crucial especially when they are people of color. It's imperative that we at least acknowledge that we are disproportionately less likely to own a business. So, every chance one gets to support, one should. Just today I caught a glimpse of the Russia and Egypt World Cup Game, and the owner was friendly and we were chatting a bit about the games. Going back and reading one of these reviews I noticed one lady gave them 1 star. Are you kidding me? Do you not have anything better to do than to complain and try to ruin peoples days. She made a comment that the hot water was down. I was actually here that day and the older lady told everyone that was the case. In fact even apologized to all of the customers graciously. Spread love people, not hate. This situation must have been a case of someone trying to get one up on this business. These people are the most respectful and kindest of any business that I've been to. I've been a part of this community for many years and one thing is for sure; THE PRICE IS GREAT, THE MACHINES ARE GREAT, THE AREA IS GREAT, THE FACILITY IS ALWAYS CLEAN, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL!”

“If your on the Westside. The Cheviot Hills Shopping center rates 10 stars. I cover westside area to Pasadena. Vons customer service is first class. I have my favorites @ Vons on Sepulveda. This store has several notches up in the meat dept. The deli. Cashiers super friendly & professional Subway is one of the better ones. They understand English better. Keep the food continually. Fresh. Whatever time of day containers are fresh. Some good news. The recycle Planet earth Pay people on the spot. No going in lines @ Vons. Keeps things faster going less confusion @ register.”
