(December 27, 2018, 10:36 am)We visited the griffith observatory. This is a great place to visit for kids and adults. There are some extraordinary exhibits. Very detailed information on each exhibit as well. The main attraction however, was the planetarium show. To begin the planetarium is well maintained, the compere, narrating the show is not a recording but a live person speaking. He did a phenomenal job !! Lastly, the show is amazing. So much so, that even if you have watched it before, its worth a revisit, plus the observatory is free to the public, there is a nominal charge for the planetarium show. In the place where you have the most expensive mouse, this is a real treat to go to !!
(December 18, 2018, 7:37 pm)Great place. Absolute must visit while in LA. It is free but parking is 6 dollars an hour. Usually takes 2 hours. Go after sundown if you want to see the telescope ???? in action. Great view of LA as well. Kid friendly... My son loved it.
(December 15, 2018, 6:38 pm)Great and super interesting location. Fantastic city views and a terrific launch point for a healthy hike to the Hollywood sign. Views along the way are tremendous. Very well kept trails make for easy hiking!
(December 15, 2018, 3:22 pm)Beautiful place. The planetarium show was amazing and the exhibits are really cool (Planetarium was 5$ with a student ID). I wasn't able to take any pictures of it but it was amazing. There are some really cool exhibits on the bottom floor like the seismograph and others. It's kinda like Cape Canaveral if you have ever been there.
(November 29, 2018, 12:57 pm)While the vistas are beautiful and the architecture grand. It does get crowded quickly. Show up early and enjoy the peace for a bit. Also 8 bucks hour parking. With that being said it's a great place to spend a morning or an evening.
