“Coming to this high school was the best option my mother made, I came with very few credits and I wasn’t going to be aligable to graduate. When I came here faculty and staff gave me the opportunity to get myself together and graduate. Now a senior I’m graduating with extra credits and also on a sports team. Thank you ELAPA ????❣️”

“The school has a small amount of students and staff; so getting to know one another is relatively easy. The relationships built are actually more stronger this way and the road to achieving a diploma becomes a much easier path because you have others that are willing to help you. The school academically attempts to be its best, but it lacks certain criterias (literally). Occasionally, you'd meet a year in which you have no spanish teacher; which is ironic considering we need a foreign language to graduate. But, this does not stop the hard-working counselor (you're welcome) to figure out other alternatives. The normal classes are riddled with obstreperous students looking for a good time; so if you want a academically adequate, but envirnmentally crippled road to you diploma: go to the normal classes. The AP classes are smaller and much more quiet and determined. But i do not mean to impugn the normal academic classes, for i've achieved good grades there as well. The teachers and staff are in the students best interest. Theyre always there for you to try and push you to be the best. Because if the small population, you get to know the staff very well. Theyre extremely smart people. The facility on an exterior basis looks like a 500 dollar solid paint job on a car that was left out in the rain for a year. Of course im exaggerating for effect, the paint job was more or less 300$. The latrines are, like everything else, in the student's best interest. But, i cannot make a formal judgement on them because they're invariably locked. Only the women's bathroom has the privilege to be open 24/7. But the few times i have been in the bathroom, i can genuinely say they smell, even if there is no defecations seen on the floor or urine. Overall, the academics here are great. The staff here is cordial and want the best out of the students. The building is kept in good shape. The students are amiable, but apparently watch out for kids with bad digestive systems, because theyre the ones that make the bathrooms smell.”
