Indian Curry & Kabob

My first time here. Very tasty and hit the spot! Got the yellow lentil dish and the cauliflower/potato dish, garlic naan and veggie samosas. Everything was delicious. Nice people too. Highly recommend.

We randomly dropped in this afternoon with our 2yo and 4yo kids. The service was great and the staff were so friendly and welcoming of the kids. They had nice table linens so I was panicking that the kiddos would be too rowdy but they were very attentive and swooped in to replace the silverware when my 2yo dropped it. Whenever my 2yo looked over at the staff they smiled back warmly and my kiddo loved it.

The service and staff alone would have made this a great meal for us. Since we went in without looking up a single review we didn’t expect anything from the food. We ordered the chicken pakora, garlic naan and two lunch platters. Food. Was. Awesome. We probably offended them by asking for everything mild so we could share with the kids but they still complied and our kids devoured everything. The pakora was not oily and tasted perfect. Everything else was on point with the flavors and texture.

It was our kids’ first time eating Indian so we’re extremely happy that it was such a pleasant experience for them!

If we didn’t live 45 minutes away we’d be there at least once a week. Thank you for making today so special!!

Love this place!
Priced perfect for the neighborhood. We paid $21.00 for the lamb shank that was out of this world and probably double in price in a more chichi local. It is walking distance for my wife and I, this will certainly become a regular dining out place for us.

(Update: I previously rated it 2 stars for their dining experience but that was pre-pandemic. And that first experience wasn't good. But I've since been back many times and the food is quite good. Especially the yellow dal. Updated to 4 stars)

Let me first say I was very excited to try this place. Indian food is my favorite especially when it's a little experimental. As far as the food itself, I think it was ok. There was just so little of it it was hard to tell.

I haven't been fed this little food since elementary school cafeteria. I did order a lunch special so I wasnt expectation large portions but look at my pictures. In the pictures on the menu the lunch special clearly comes in larger proportions. Then I had to argue with the staff to get the salad, naan and yogurt side that it said it came with.

And to make matters worse, when those sides did come they were each in plastic containers, exactly what I was trying to avoid (and I told the person this).

This was one of the more depressing restaurant experiences I've had in a while.
