The food and sides were overall great. We got the
King steam dumplings which were giant and good. The spicy steam roll dumpling were great. The fried dumplings were good. The Korean styled steamed dumplings were amazing and probably my favorite. The only bad thing was the shrimp fried rice. It was not worth the money as the flavor was bland.
Please do yourself a huge favor and make this your dumpling destination. We came hungry and still had leftovers. WOW! Hits all the flavor profiles. Menu is not extensive but what they do have on the menu they do it beautifully. Chefs kiss! Seating is limit.
The Korean equivalent of dim sum. They also have other excellent traditional Korean dishes. Service is great. Plenty of parking.
If you want to good Korean food or dumplings this is the place to go.
Side note: I trust Anthony Bourdain's opinion.
I waited years to come here and it's so worth the wait. The most amazing dumplings I've ever had! The kimchi is spectacular and the service is 100 percent flawless. I hope this restaurant never closes.
🇰🇷 SOUTH KOREA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) - 왕만두 wang mandu is first (and second) on the menu, probably the most ordered, and filled with pork and either leek or kimchi. Arriving as a plate of four softball-sized beauties, even picking it up and deciding how to attack it is a pleasure. The bun itself is spongy and dense, and can be an absolute gut-buster if you had plans to eat a lot more.
