My Hero Sandwiches

A decently priced deli sub restaurant that’s very close to the CSUN campus. Ordered the #1 Italian sub today and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bread. Soft but still had a good chew. Another highlight is the tomato salad which comes standard on almost all the sandwiches sold here. Would be back again.

The best subs in the valley. Been coming here for many years. We always get the super Italian sub sandwich (#1). And Rose makes every visit special. She is a wonderful woman. Two reasons to go there one for Rose and one for the great food.

1st time trying Hero Subs and I gotta say it was a really good experience. I ordered the #10(turkey) which was great. The place was very clean and had an 80s-90s vibe to it. It's like I went back in time and got to feel what customer service should feel like. Definitely will stop by here again!

My Hero has sandwich shop has been around since 1964! That's right, since The Beatles played on The Ed Sullivan Show! So it was time to check them out! I ordered a "My Hero Special" which is like your classic italian. It was really good. They pot a tomato salad on all their sandwiches. They were very nice. It's affordable. I wish they had a deal that included a bag of chips and a drink. That's where things started to add up. Still not too bad. Ask for mayo, lettuce, onions and pickles added to your sandwich, all at no additional cost.

Plenty of parking! They have three tables and a large counter with stools. They do have a high chair! They were very fast too! A great place if you want to grab a quick lunch that isn't fast food.
