So delicious!!!!!!! The guy knows his stuff. Definitely a good spot for 1-3 people (the whole place seats maybe 14 tops). Be mindful of the time since they are closed for about 3 hours between lunch and dinner.
I cant believe that I live 2 blocks from this place for about 6 years and I have never been there. Amazing ramen. And friendly staff. This place gets crowded quick and now I see why. I think they sprinkle crack in their food???? it's too good.
I've been dining at Kotoya's previous location for several years and I'm relieved that they aren't closed, they've just moved to Palms from West LA. I would trek across town during rush hour for the spicy ramen at this place. You won't be disappointed.
Amazing base and noodles. Was deciding between the white and black garlic, eventually picked the former, and was super happy with my choice (I should add that it's solidly garlicky). You pay extra to add an egg or extra noodles/corn, etc, but it's worth it. Since there's only counter space for about 8 and two 2-tops, there's bound to be a wait, but service is fast, so even though there were five parties ahead of us, our wait time was about 10-15 minutes.
