Beautiful park in the greatest neighborhood in LA county. I'm so grateful to be able to live in this beautiful part of the Harbor Area. Only drawback is the amateur photographers blocking the bridge pretty much all day every day so they can conduct business with no permits. Most see you coming and don't even have the decency to pause to let you pass. I'm going to start walking directly through your shot like you don't exist. I'm tired of it. Walking all the way around so people can take photos without having to pay for a location. Always the same people too. Still 5 stars though. Best sunsets on Earth less than minutes away also if you know where to go. I see dolphins 60% of the time. Even saw a mega pod last August. It was wild. Thousands of dolphins at once!
Amazing park with little pond and benches to sit around the pond. Little hills make it a great workout for runners as well.
Didn't see a single rose in the rose garden though
GOTTA love the park where 45+ years ago a photo was taken of a beautiful baby boy toddler which made cover for local newspaper The Daily Breeze.
Spoiler Alert: ME!
lot of memories there ..89% great 9% good 2% so-so.
Love how its remained the same over the years and destination for weddings and birthday photos
Definitely the young crowd here just lounging around on the grassy knoll. Great for dog walking (or letting the dog loose....most of the animals seem to have loving owners so they are well adjusted pets). People walking around were nicely vending special "brownies", "cookies," and beer.
So peaceful. Love hearing the ducks talks. I took my maternity pictures here, they came out beautiful. I had picnics here
