“Premium grocery store. Don’t look for low prices and low quality. Only organic fruits and vegetables, local cruelty free cosmetics, good variety of vegan cheese and meat alternatives. I like Erewhon organic cafe. The coffee is good, also I like eggplant lasagna, pizza eggless sandwich, raw kelp noodles and much more. The store is always clean. Cashiers are friendly.”

“Solid food and drinks ... Marco Polo has that. Great atmosphere (depending on weather) ... Marco Polo has that. A pool you can snack and drink next to ... Marco Polo has that. Marco Polo is attached to the Silver Lake Pool & Inn, and it takes the best aspects of a "hotel bar" and mixes them with the best of a stand-alone restaurant. Let's say it's a hot day and you'd love to dive into a pool for a bit and then grab a couple of cocktails and lounge in the sun. You can totally do that. (There's a two hour limit, I should add, for Marco Polo pool time.) Or, if you want to have a romantic dinner with that Tinder date that's becoming something more, then this is the place for it. The vast majority of seating here is outside. That's mostly good, but can be bad if the weather is less than ideal. (It also means that reading the menu can be a little challenging at night depending on where you sit.) The sweet spot is definitely dusk on a warm day. The menu is seafood-based Italian mostly and everything I've tried is delicious. You can easily share plates with one another so everyone can try everything. The drink menu is exceptionally good, as is the wine list. To be honest, this is where Marco Polo really shines. Grab some friends, order drinks and some apps for the table and enjoy the LA night here.”

“Very good prices and curation! The store is clean and smells so good for a thrift shop! The lady who worked there was very nice and I found great pieces. 5 stars!”

“One of my favorite places back home. If you've got a loving energy, they'll pick up on it and treat you sweetly. Some young girls went in as a joke and they were politely redirected, but still welcomed. They changed their attitudes and even went into the meditation room. I learn so much every time I go in. Thank you, I'm humbled by your wisdom.”

“Sean is great. I tried to ombre my own hair and messed up real bad. It had 3+ colors in it by the time I came to him for help. I was visiting LA for work, and I needed a solution fast, so I called various salons in the area for consults. All other "stylists" in the area were either unreachable or suggested a slash-and-burn, single-process fix, but Sean suggested a variety of tactics to fix the color while keeping the dimension and spirit of what I wanted. He seems to have a lot of knowledge and foresight that comes from lots of experience. He also has a very calm, kind demeanor, which was not my impression of the other area stylists I spoke to. Sean did a great job--my hair came out exactly as he said it would, even better than I could have imagined. And for a very fair price in a minimal amount of time. I can't thank him enough. The salon, by the way, is really beautiful and clean. You can tell the regulars love going there and have good relationships with their stylists. I'm posting a before-and-after so you can see what a life-saving transformation this was!”

“Fair warning, parking in this area can be a bit brutal. Other than wishing they had a parking lot this place is great. Most of the menu is vegan or vegan possible. The hot wings are definitely a highlight. They also have a great lunch special deal. I really recommend it if you're looking for vegan Thai food.”

“middle eastern food... my preferred treat. I give this place double thumbs up. Certainly worth a return trip. The bill was decent for the quality. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.”

“I've been going to Universal Family Wellness Clinic for a few years and seeing Michael for the last couple. The acupuncture is catered to my needs for that week or day whether it's immune function, back pain, IT band tightness, stress, or otherwise. They introduced me to cupping and it has helped a lot with my back. My appointment always gives me the relief and support that I need to strengthen my body and mind for the subsequent days/weeks. I think of my appointment like a tune-up for my body, similar to the tune-up or oil change you get for your car. If I have symptoms of a cold or other issues like with my stomach or bladder, they/Michael has herbs that help support healing. Anyone interested in acupuncture or a more Eastern medicinal approach to healing and well-being would be lucky to be able to go to Universal Family Wellness Clinic. I hope to keep them in my life forever.”
