“Welcome to overrated. Marketing, trendy digs and a catchy name help propel this place into the orbit of nearly 5 stars. They have a charisma and style that is designed for success. I like it. It's a wonderful place. But Milk doesn't offer a stellar product. It's good. It's fairly reliable and have a few unique twists & offerings but the quality is not superb. I've had a few of their none signature pastries and have felt fairly happy afterwards. I've had their blueberry cake which was yummy and fun but nothing to stand in line over. You pay a premium for the style and the hype and in the end you get a yummy product that probably could've been had at another reasonable competitor that didn't have the budget for the sweet presentation.”

“I'll give it five stars but I strongly suggest a couple of coats of paint in a few places. The windows in particular need attention (are they actually stained?). Maybe they're appealing to a downtrodden, wayfarer demographic but it would be a much better experience for the rest of is if there was a little money spent of the seating area. The food and coffee are good. Five stars specifically for convenience, location, quality and friendliness of the staff.”

“Hard to beat Benjamin and the team at the World Famous Venice Barber Shop! Very attentive to detail, Ben takes his time to give you a good cut. The LA/Venice ambiance, beer on tap, and Ben’s business adventure stories make it over the top amazing! Good people doing great cuts. I lived in LA for 10 years and had some good barbers, but I’d go out of my way to get Ben to give me the Gentleman’s Haircut any day.”

“Broke a window pane trying to install an AC unit. In a panic to buy plexiglas (dumb and expensive) I drove past Swartz Glass and called them. Swartz took care of me in a matter of minutes and gave me an introductory rate. Call them, work with them, review them. They went above and beyond when I measured my glass incorrectly and they re-cut my pane hassle free. Definitely a promoter”
