I brought in my prized alabaster lamp whose homemade 1960s pull chain finally died to get rewired; the fellows in the store took a look, commanded me to wait and fixed it in less than 20 minutes while I waited, watched the other interesting customers have their specialized questions and queries answered one by one. For about $35, it was like a throwback moment of how household errands *could* feel like a social, sustaining part of one's day instead of an inhuman grind. “Dr. Wu, hands down is a miracle worker. This is my story - I was t-boned in 2008. I was going to a chiropractor for a year. Then I stopped decided to give physical therapy (PT) a try. Went for a year, first once a week then bi-weekly. I stopped in 2011. I started having neck issues again in 2012. I went back to PT, chiropractic and getting massages. It gets expensive after a while. Someone recommended acupuncturist and I decided to give it a try. The first place I went to was in Glendale. It was super clean and both doctors were nice. After the first treatment, they wanted to see me every week, twice a week. They even set me on a plan. I went for a month and finally just stopped as I noticed no change. Then my sister went to see Dr. Wu at Dharma for her back. He did this scraping method on her. She felt amazing walking out of his office. I decided to give him a try and I knew he was going to be a bit expensive as he does not take insurance. I made an appointment, he took me in same day as I called. I went in ... and the rest is pure happiness. He did his magic. The first treatment I was able to turn my neck more so than the past seven years. After my first session, I asked him "when do you want to see me again?" he said "I don't want to see you again" then he said "Come see me when you are not feeling well". He is NOT in the business of making money, he is in this because he truly cares and really wants the best for your health. I have recommended three others and they all have said the same thing.”
