He had his own tools made, which are smaller than those other surgeons use, allowing him to reduce the bulge in my discs without cutting the lamanna of the spine or other bone or muscle. It was about a 4 hour outpatient surgery and then my wife drove me home. I was able to walk up the stairs on my own and felt very little pain and never use pain killers. My activity was extremely limited by the doctor for a long time, but now I am back to normal and getting back in shape. Also able to do work around the house I was having difficulty doing.
