I met with Maria for several sessions. Each session provided questioning, strength building, conversation and a protocol for me to follow. She gave me stretches and strengthening exercises that I could do in my own home or gym at my own time. Each session added on the last and through this process, I gained my strength back in these specific areas of my body. The sessions gave me confidence that I could do this routine and get my strength back. We think of strength in our bodies with an overall fit appearance and ability. The strength I needed was specific and also subtle. I have these tools that I still do at home and that I can start doing again if I feel any weakness again.
