“I am almost too selfish to write this review, because I am afraid that Dr. Li will have too much business and it will not be as quiet the next time I am in. Dr. Li and his wife Kitty go the extra mile for their clients. Kitty calls me to schedule appointments. They gave me a small Christmas gift this year. I don't know any acupuncture center that spends so much time and personal attention on their clients. The facility is very clean, with nice fresh air. It is not New Age-y or glamorous, but simple, well-kept, and quiet. They play classical music during my sessions, which is relaxing. They have private rooms. And Dr. Li always throws in extra services free of charge. I pay a fraction of what I would pay elsewhere, and again, am hesitant to sing Kitty and Dr. Li's praises too loudly since I like it with just me or maybe one client--however, the business is new and they deserve to keep growing because of their care and attentiveness.”

“Intense and rigorous! Such an amazing intro to CrossFit. If you're looking for a challenging cardio workout no matter what (it's tailored because you go at your own pace within timed periods) and a supportive community, give this gym a try. Our instructor Dex was very motivating, helpful and encouraging. We had a rather large class (12-14 people) but he managed to observe each one of us closely and correct us as necessary. I tend to have bad form and he patiently helped me out despite repeated attempts. The class was fast-paced and consisted of HIIT circuits (running, kettlebell deadlifts + squats + swings, burpees, dumbbells and rowing). There were 5 min. rests in between, which were much needed. I would definitely recommend going at your own pace, because one potential drawback I noticed was the clash of pace in wanting to push yourself athletically and the risk of improper form. I definitely wish to revisit! I can see why CF is cult-like; it's deservedly impressive in pushing you to your limit. Parking is in a small lot (drive slowly as you approach) and is limited, but there's nearby street parking if you circle out the lot onto Picher Alley.”

“Jason is the best personal trainer I've worked with. He has a clear understanding of how to alleviate aches and pains and how to develop just exactly what needs developing. He's sufficiently remorseless to push you past where you wanted to stop and make you see you can do more than you knew. I felt results immediately, after the first session. I'd recommend Jason in a heartbeat.”
